Swiss Bank, State-Owned Postfinance, Offers Direct Acess For Clients To Crypto Market

Swiss Bank’s Postfinance, a state-owned banking unit ofSwiss, has been planning to make a move into the crypto market.

 

 

In a recent statement, more like an unofficial announcement, the bank officials claimed that their clients are continuously looking for direct and easy access to thecrypto marketthrough their already existing house accounts in the Swiss bank.

 

 

Besides, the growing influence of digital finance or assets, which is continuously taking over the traditional banking ways, is prompting the Swiss bank to take a step into the crypto market and give its users direct access to the digital finance industry through traditional banking platforms.

 

 

Swiss Postfinance is the financial and banking department of theSwiss Post Office, which is aSwitzerland state-owned firmresponsible for the region’s infrastructure, postal, and other essential public services. This firm is looking to dip its feet into the world of cryptocurrency as they look for ways to offer direct cryptocurrencies to all of its customer bases.

 

 

Although one of the biggest banking and financial services in Switzerland already offer its customers exposure to the crypto market through one of its app,Yuh– which exists as a collaborative development withSwissquote, the banking group. The app’s website describes its services as combining the process of saving, paying, and investing in one packet.

 

 

The head of retail banking of Postfinance,Sandra Leinhart, was reported claiming, "the last 18 months have institutionalised cryptocurrency in the world of finance and banking and now every bank’s client, including ours, is demanding direct access to the crypto market through their already existing house banks and accounts.

 

 

Hence, we thought, there is no other better time to enter the market than right now, right away”.
